About Clark Electric Sales

Clark Electric Sales, Inc. is a family-owned business committed to professional representation of quality manufacturers.

Our company’s roots go back to 1983 when Steve Clark began working in the industry as an engineer at Valmont Industries. In 1987, Steve entered the manufacturers’ representative business and in 1996 the Clark family founded Clark Power Products serving the utility and transportation markets.

In 1996, the transportation business operated as a division of Clark Power Products. Clark Electric Sales was incorporated in 2003 and continued as a sister corporation focusing on the transportation and lighting markets.

Through several years of planning and careful consideration, the Clark family sold the utility business to focus exclusively on the growth and operation of Clark Electric Sales. In December 2008, Clark Electric Sales moved to its own facility where it now operates independently. Today, we are an established agency positioned for the future.

Our Staff

Steve Clark has been a manufacturers’ representative since 1987, becoming a principal in 1993. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and was previously employed at an electric utility, a major national contractor (Kiewit) and a pole manufacturer (Valmont). Since 1993, as a principal, he has managed the sales efforts of Clark Electric Sales and its predecessors. Steve is excited to be focusing exclusively on Clark Electric Sales.

Scott Clark is a Sales Engineer for the Clark Electric Sales team. His areas of expertise are ITS design specifications, energy efficient lighting technologies, communications and pole structures. He has a master’s degree in business administration from University of Arizona along with degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering. Prior to CES, he worked as Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs, Skunk Works. He is knowledgeable, detail oriented and always has a smile.

Diane Clark has been actively involved in managing the financial and office operations of the Clark companies since 1996. She has a business degree from Creighton University and has previously worked as a C.P.A. in a large public accounting firm, as a C.F.O. for a Kiewit company subsidiary and as a private financial consultant. She manages the business functions of Clark Electric Sales and enjoys helping customers with inside sales activities.
